Massage Therapy FAQs

The Benefits of Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy massage offers essential support for both mother and baby throughout this transformative time. As the body undergoes significant changes, massage can help ease common discomforts such as back pain, leg cramps, headaches, and swelling in the feet and ankles.

Beyond physical relief, massage reduces stress and anxiety by calming the nervous system—promoting deeper sleep, emotional balance, and a healthier pregnancy overall. Improved circulation delivers more oxygen and nutrients to both mother and baby, reducing fatigue and enhancing wellbeing.

Regular massage also boosts flexibility, which is particularly helpful in the later stages of pregnancy and during birth. It supports lymphatic drainage, helping to eliminate waste and reduce fluid retention.

Massage isn’t just beneficial during pregnancy, it can also ease birth and aid recovery postpartum, helping mothers regain strength and adjust to life with their newborn.

Pregnancy massage is a time for mothers to pause, connect with their bodies, and embrace the journey of motherhood.
